City launches new, more user-friendly website design


Fairfield, Calif. (Wednesday, December 22, 2021) – The City of Fairfield has launched its new website which includes: new branding, improved navigation and new interactive tools. Developed in partnership with Granicus Vision, the new site captures the progressive spirit of the City and puts detailed government information within the reach of residents and visitors.

“Our goal is to provide residents, businesses and visitors with an enhanced user experience and functionality, and to facilitate their access to city services and assets. We are very excited about the image-driven design, ”said Director of Communications Bill Way.

Users can access key features from the dynamic home page, including a “How do I?” »Tab that takes them directly to the requested information.

Other enhanced website features include:
• More user-friendly navigation designed with the user in mind
• Consolidation of E-Service functions
• Access to the most requested topic from the home page
• A dynamic community calendar that syncs with user calendars
